Hello, hello! The weekend is upon us and it’s time to “Share Our Shit” again! And speaking of sharing shit, some kind soul shared their cold germs with me, so I’ve been coughing and sniffling all week and trying to sleep the misery away. As a result, I have an inbox full of new content notifications to catch up on, and a very image-heavy SoSS this week. Never fear, I shall catch up once my eyes stop streaming.
Here are some of the posts that I enjoyed this week during my moment of lucidity!
Happy weekend, and happy reading
Love, Jupiter 🌺 💋
Worth More Than My Last Twenty by Brigit Delaney. A sexy stripper scene with a wonderful denouement.
Edge For Me by Steeled Snake Charmer. Oh, the exquisite cruelty!
Life and Death by Cara Thereon. Eerie, chilling, and an excellent premise.
Why I’m a Sex Worker by Meredith Kirby, guest posting at Better Sex Ed. Meredith addresses some of the stigmas and stereotypes associated with stripping, and asserts that “Sex work acknowledges the fact that I own my own body, and that the beauty and power of my sexuality is mine to command, nobody else’s.”
Explorations: The Husband by Terry Brewer. I love this story of a husband and wife taking their first steps into BDSM. Terry Brewer captures the realities and practicalities as well as the sizzling pleasure of exploring kinky sex with someone you love. And you can read The Wife here.
You Love Me In The Morning by Frank Solanki. Such beautiful sentiments.
The Abyss by Brad Osborne. I always look forward to Brad’s poems, and this beautiful piece about the passage of time and the inevitability of death has become an absolute favourite of mine.
Charme- Joyce 3 from Filimages. Exquisitely beautiful images.
Web by Kisungura. From the tangle of the webbing, the crawling spiders, the flash of red (bloodied?) lips and the expression on her face, Kis gives us another superb image.
Bring Me To Life by PurplesGem. Such a perfect Halloween image, with littlegem appearing to float at a church altar. Is she being taken up in The Rapture, or being exorcised of a demon? Love it!
Fire Burn by Molly Moore. Wonderfully witchy, Molly poses sky-clad around a sparking, dancing fire. I could spend hours looking at this picture; the depth, the colour, the beautiful tendrils of the firelight. Gorgeous 😍
Desire by May More. I missed the details of this image on first viewing, but this really deserves exploration. I have no idea how the image was achieved, but it looks as though May has sprouted angel wings of stone whilst in the throes of love, which works perfectly with the Anne Rice quote.
Slake Our Thirst from Little Switch Bitch. This is a fantastically scary shot!
Devil Inside from Tabitha Rayne. So, so sexy!
Fear in Innocence by Marie Rebelle. Another gorgeous Halloween image. I hate spiders, but I love this photo.
My Own Posts This Week
I showed fear the finger for Sinful Sunday, in honour of Hot Octopuss’ worthy campaign against sex stigma.
I was channelling my inner femme-domme frustration, and conducted a Hostile Takeover for Masturbation Monday.
I mused on the E-Erotica Revolution and the Hidden World of Female Sexual Arousal in The Big Fling.
I was completely thrilled to be named among Kinkly’s Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2019.
I got primal in a brand new leopard print bra.
I was inspired by an afternoon on the couch watching “Pose” to write a short fiction about a beautiful trans queen and her enraptured admirer in Her Perfume.
And I set up my little makeshift audio studio to read some erotica for my brand new Patreon site, which I have finally launched. You can hear me telling you about it here.
Additionally, I have added a couple of affiliate links to the website; Doxy (the masters of the Wand massager, now branching out into butt plugs and beyond!) and Paloqueth. If you fancy stocking up on some sex toys with a great savings (Christmas is coming- shouldn’t you be coming, too? 😉), head to Paloqueth.com, enter ‘Jupiter’ at the checkout, and get 15% off your entire basket (As an affiliate, I make a small commission when you purchase.)
So now, I must go and make myself some Lemsip, get a warm jumper on and settle in front of the telly. Oh, the glamour of my sexy, sexy life, huh? 😋
Much love to you all. Thank you for keeping me smiling through some bloody choppy waters, and hugs and kisses to each and every one of you. (It’s okay – they’re cyber-kisses. You won’t catch my cold!) 💋💋
