Sex-toy company Hot Octopuss are currently running a campaign called “Show Stigma the Finger” all about challenging the stigma that surrounds sex and masturbation. We have all seen how puritanical attitudes toward sex and sexuality rapidly turned tumblr into yesterday’s news. Facebook will display all kinds of horrific content, fake news, right-wing propaganda and bogus political posts, but heaven forbid anyone shows a nipple! Twitter has, so far, been accepting of NSFW content, but who knows how long that will last?

This month’s Sinful Sunday prompt is Quote me a Halloween. For me, one of the things that I find scary in this world is the fact that there is still such intolerance, cruelty and judgment. In Show[ing] Stigma the Finger in this photo, I am not just endorsing Hot Octopuss’ important campaign, but am also giving the finger to hypocrites, hate-mongers and those who continue to stigmatise sexuality. Shouting at the Devils, “You will not win. Love is stronger than hate. I #resist.”
