SoSS #14- 28/09/2019

SoSS-time again, and doesn’t time fly. I’ve had an up and down kind of week this week, but made more bearable with the help of some great content. Here are some of the posts that particularly resonated.

Just a reminder, too, that Smutathon 2019 is taking place on Saturday. This annual erotic writing challenge raises money for great causes, and this year funds are being raised for The National Network of Abortion Funds. There are many ways to be involved and to show your support. I’m planning to participate, and will be hitting up Twitter for some writing prompts. I hope I’ll see some of you ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’‹

Prose

Taking Back My Sex from May More. An honest and thoughtful look at childhood abuse and its effect on future sex and relationships.

The Cupboard by Erotic Writer. This is really steamy, and I love these characters.

Off the Path by Lascivity. Sex outdoors is wonderfully primal, and Lascivity captures this so perfectly.

Don’t Call Me Frigid by Raven Lee. Sultry and sexy, this tale takes the reader to unexpected places!

Barnet Bastille Farewell from melodyinsights. Sad to hear about this dungeon in London closing, but what a beautiful way to end an era! WARNING: Images of Needleplay.

Lena by Cal. A superb flash fiction inspired by Tom Starling’s Friday Flash photo prompt.

Haunted by Deviant Succubus. With the spooky season fast approaching and the nights growing longer, what more be more appealing than an eerie and erotic haunted house story? Wonderful!

Poetry

Weeding by Shllyn. A beautiful analogy.

Surface Breaks by Emmaleela. Sensual, erotic, and truly stunning.

I Don’t Think by Not The One Who Loved Me. The pain of seeing the one you love happy with someone else is beautifully captured in this poem.

Papillon by Ripe Scrumptious Peach. This is a really sweet poem from RSP.

Images

Dreams Are Made of This from Life of Elliott. The gorgeous Dreamcatcher in a fantastically sexy image.

Sinful Sunday and Breathe from Clear-eyed Girl. Such a perfect image for a relaxing Sinful Sunday.

Butterfly Effect from PurplesGem. Such a pretty image that a visitor wanted to join in!

Saturday Chores from Pain as Pleasure. I adore Bibulous One’s black and white “man at work” photos, and I particularly love this one, as any man who takes on the job of doing the mowing (always one of my least favourite tasks) immediately has my heart!

Edited from Marie Rebelle. Not only a beautiful image, but a wonderful story behind it.

Softer Focus from Kilted Wookie. No filters, just the fortuitous meeting of perfect light and a beautiful body.

A Selection of My Own Posts

This week I got animalistic for Masturbation Monday;

got poetical with I’m Not Here, Whenever You Hold Me, and The Draw of the Cards;

got a little bit of emotional uplift in One Light Burning for Sex Bloggers for Mental Health (SB4MH);

reviewed books by Megan O’Keeffe and Joe Leonardi, and on a personal note, I finished reading Francesca Demont’s fantastic Clarice: Fetish Escort series of stories, which I also recommend and hope to post a review of on this site soon;

and previewed one of the stories included in my new ebook (released this coming Tuesday), with an Excerpt from “Incubus”.

Happy weekend, and happy reading.

Love, Jupiter x ๐ŸŒบ ๐Ÿ’‹
