Inspired by “Start Me Up” by The Rolling Stones.
For The September Song Project.
Running my tongue up the back of your neck never fails to start you up.
I hear your breath catch in your throat and you make that little growling noise I love.
I feel the way your body seems both to tense and to relax simultaneously.
You’re like a coiled spring, just waiting to pounce.
When I nibble on your earlobe and exhale a warm breath against your skin, I know it won’t be long now.
I’m starting you up.
I’ll make you blow your top.
And once I start you up, you’ll never want me to stop.
Beautifully crafted 😍

I like it! 🙂
I’ve been thinking about the Stones a bit, trying to figure out whether/if/how I want to incorporate their music into my blog this month. But honestly, I just keep hearing the chorus of Beast of Burden as I’ll never leave your pizza burnin’… 😛
Thanks for playing along!

Haha. That’s brilliant. I love that song, and now I’m never going to hear it in the same way!! Are you familiar with the Bette Midler cover of Beast of Burden? It’s actually my favourite version.
Thanks so much for coming up with the September Song Project meme. It’s such a great idea, and a whole lot of fun 😘
