SoSS #3- 13/07/2019

Though I started out the week on top of my reading, I suddenly noticed that there weren’t many people posting towards the end of the week. Summer holidays? A come-down after Every Damn Day in June, perhaps? No. Somehow and for some reason, my notifications had switched themselves off! Well, I think – I hope – that I’ve got it sorted again, and but needless to say I’ve got a bit of a backlog. On the upside, though, I’m looking forward to catching up on everything that’s out there.

I started my SoSS #3 last Sunday, before my technological woes, and already I was amassing quite a number of items. So please enjoy some of my favourites, from the first part of this week, at least….

Fiction

She published part 1 back on the 2nd July, but I was so far behind that I only got to bluesubmission’s tremendous series, The Other in the Mirror, The Other’s Betrayal and Meeting Mistress Ruby. blue is such a masterful storyteller, and this sexy, magical fairy-tale will draw you in. Can’t wait for the next installment of Alena’s story!

The brilliant Posy Churchgate published the third installment of “Voyeur with Benefits”, a sexy tale of a guy who enjoys lingerie and his girlfriend who likes to watch!! Check out Part One, Part Two and Part Three.

If you’ve got a penchant for fantasy/horror/gothic fiction with a sexy flavour, I guarantee you will enjoy Don’t Go By The Stairs by Cara Thereon. Take a look at the photo prompt that prefaces the story, and then hold on. Brilliant!

I was completely drawn into Email Seduction by Erotic Writer. Very hot and wanton scenes, and such a naughty little seductress is our emailing protagonist!!

May More took us back in time to a time of young love and happy memories in Love in the Dunes. You can smell the suntan lotion and teenage hormones from the very first paragraph!

Non-fiction

I love way that Sir Hanz discusses Dominance and submission in Kink 114.

A Broken Spell by Molly Moore is a very honest and resonant discussion of her “broken” D/s relationship.

The Naughty Emoji by V Pub made me laugh out loud.

Poetry

Storm Warning by Dana R is a wonderful piece full of assertive lusts and powerful desire. It makes me want to raise my fist to the air and shout “Damn straight!”

If I can I will by Emmaleela (Tabula Erotica) is passionate and visceral.

Images

The Sinful Sunday prompt this week was One Shot, Two Ways and it really brought out some very creative and inspired photos. I heartily recommend you check them all out; my particular favourites were from Accidental Masturbator, Pain as Pleasure , Kisungura and Deviant Succubus.

Flower Photography by Nathan James. Beautiful images of some beautiful flowers.

A Selection of my own posts this week

Vivid– my Masturbation Monday submission got a really pleasing response. Thank you to everyone who read it, and said they’d enjoyed it.

“Oh My Crazy Baby”, which takes its name from a heartbreaking Joan Osborne song about depression, was my submission for Food for Thought Friday’s “crazy” prompt, and was also submitted to Sex Bloggers for Mental Health.

This week’s Wicked Wednesday prompt was “center” (or “centre” if I’m being be the British pedant ;)), and my offering was Soft Centre, a short few lines accompanied by a superb image I found by Bob Carlos Clarke.

These last few days I have been working on a couple of submissions for magazines and e-zines, some vanilla, some a bit naughtier. So my blogging has been sporadic. I’ve also re-located a long form fiction that I’d started writing back in early 2013, and it isn’t so awful as I’d remembered. With a bit more structure and some heavy editing, I might just be able to work it up into something resembling acceptable. Or I might be delusional.

Enjoy the weekend, everyone.

Love, Jupiter x 🌺

    1. You’re welcome, May. It’s a great piece, and I expect others found, as I did, that it took them back to happy times in their youth. The first blossoming of love and lust, and the hope that the best of those connections might last the test of time. I loved it πŸ’–
